The Oregon COVID Storytelling Project (CSP) is a project of the Oregon Health Equity Alliance, a regional health equity coalition that serves Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties.

Who is this for?
The Oregon COVID Storytelling Project (CSP) is for all Oregonians impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, for those who want to learn more about Oregonians’ experiences of the pandemic, and for those who want to feel less alone in these unprecedented times.

What is the purpose of the Oregon COVID Storytelling Project?
The purpose of this project was to offer a platform for Oregonians to share their stories and experiences related to the COVID-19 pandemic, to redistribute funding we received during the pandemic to those most impacted, and to fill in the gaps between public health and community experience as related to the pandemic.

What was the process for selecting stories?
The main eligibility criterion was storytellers must reside in Oregon. Submissions that advocated or supported hate speech or discriminatory language or imagery, or promoted COVID-19 denial or misinformation were disqualified. Two OHEA staff reviewed every submission to ensure these criteria were met.
